Mandalas

These were one of the favorite projects of the year. This is a great way to teach radial symmetry.   We started by using a coffee filter and coloring that with markers, then spraying with water.  Once the paper dried, students began with a dot in the center of the circle.  From there, students used varying lines and pattern to create these beautiful Mandalas. The outcome is beautiful!
