Fall Themed Color Families

This lesson was a wrap up / Summative assessment for our color theory lesson.  For K-2nd, we learned Primary, Secondary, Warm, and Cool Colors.  For 3rd - 5th Grades we reviewed those four and added Tertiary, Complementary, and Analogous Colors.  We used a fall theme of leaves, acorns, etc. for our subject.  I had leaves on each table and many students used these to trace.  These watercolor fall themed color families were beautiful and the students were completely engaged in their work.
